Flora Tristán Research Center

We are a research collective based at the Institute of Political Science of the University of Brasília (UnB), in Brazil. The Flora Tristán Research Center, established in 2019, is dedicated to conducting studies that investigate the political challenges and institutional dynamics in addressing structural inequalities within contemporary societies.

Our work focuses on analyzing the asymmetries of power related to gender, race, and class within the context of contemporary capitalism. In addition to conducting research projects, we are dedicated to training researchers in the field of critical social research, aiming to challenge the traditional perspectives prevalent within academia from its margins.
